Pocket money can be an effective educational tool through which children can be taught about the value of money and develop responsibility for budget management, resource allocation and savings.

What is the purpose?

Conducting an open dialogue with children about the values of saving and financial responsibility.

What to do?

  • Together with the children, they assemble and decorate a savings fund for self-assembly.
  • Talk to your children about things you can do with pocket money, and the importance and significance of saving.

What is needed?

  • A3 printer paper (preferably hard paper, such as Bristol).
  • Scissors.
  • Japanese cutting knife (for cutting the coupe slot).
  • Glue.
  • Markers/paints/crayons.
  • Stickers and creative materials.
