10 pests for economic efficiency during the coronavirus crisis

The coronavirus crisis requires us to conduct ourselves differently. This is an opportunity for us to rethink course, be creative and think outside the box. Let’s see how you can turn a lemon into lemonade…
  1. Be creative – think outside the box!
  2. Take advantage of the relative calm at work to take action and realize income-generating ideas that you haven’t had enough of before.
  3. Cut back on luxuries – Stop all unnecessary expenses, distinguish between luxuries and basic needs.
  4. Stability of the source of livelihood – Assess the stability of each member of the household’s source of livelihood and already think about possible alternative routes.
  5. Are you in quarantine?
Try to work from home, even part-time, so as not to take advantage of sick days.
    – It’s time to save on expenses for a cleaner, gardener, nanny and do it yourself – extremely economical and an opportunity to connect family members to household chores, so everyone will feel belonging and useful. See any amount of money you’ve saved as if you’ve earned it yourself as a family and it will accumulate for a family vacation after the crisis.
  6. Self-employed?
    – Hurry up in collecting funds for open invoices that have not yet been collected.
    – Offer an online service for people in quarantine, who can purchase the service from their home.
    – Self-employed in isolation? Try to convert some of the work to online, a lot of customers will respond positively to this.
  7. Save on ordering prepared food that costs a lot and switch to preparing cooked food – healthier, an opportunity for bonding activities for family members and costs much less.
  8. Afraid of multiplayer events? Good opportunity for home recreation with the immediate family. A great opportunity to convert entertainment and event budget into other things.
  9. Preparing with multiple food shopping? Pay attention to expiration dates and avoid buying a lot of groceries that have a short shelf time.
  10. Your annual vacation has been cancelled and it’s not yet clear if you’ll get your money back? Wait for a hot day and go out into the desert with a tent and delicious food that you bought in the previous section. And finally, and on a more smiling note – avoid paying in cash for fear of transmitting the virus?
