In preparation for the coming school year, and following a rigorous tender process the Israeli Ministry of Education nominated 12 of Paamonim’s educational programs. So yes, financial education will at long last be available as a valid educational focus, and school principals throughout Israel are able to select the programs they desire to teach at their schools.
Furthermore, principals can select the most appropriate of Paamonim’s programs, each one carefully created for the different audience’s and age groups (students, youth at risk, parents and educational staff).
The initiative was made possible thanks to a “pedagogical and administrative flexibility” reform led by the Ministry of Education. This is an outstanding opportunity for Paamonim to influence and contribute to the spreading of financial education aimed for teacher’s students and parents, and for citizens as a whole who will truly benefit from a financially literate society.
Whether you are a parent or a teacher we encourage you to contact your school management or parent committees and ask to endorse one of Paamonim’s financial literacy programs.
