In corporation with the Bank of Israel and the Ministry of Education Paamonim is once again proud to represent Israel by taking an active role in the OECD Global Money week initiative.
This year Paamonim have launched a dedicated mini website offering interactive means for teaching financial education to youth of all ages – from preschool, elementary, high school, higher academics and parents. The mini site will remain active throughout the entire Global Money week, running March 21st- 27th.
With participating organizations from over 100 countries, the Global Money Week (GMW) promotes efforts for cultivating financial literacy amongst young people. The main goal of the campaign is to verify that all youngsters have access to financial education, learn about money matters, and are capable of making smart financial decisions for a straightforward future of financial resilience and well-being.
The Global Money Week campaign, organized by the OECD International Network on Financial Education (OECD/INFE), is in its 10th year of operation and has become a global and international sensation reaching over 170 countries and over 50 million children cumulatively over the years.
“Build your future, be smart about money” the 2022 theme captures the importance of thinking about one’s future when making financial decisions, and not only does it prompt young people to plan ahead, it also inspires GMW partaking organizations such as Paamonim, to think about the future when planning their GMW2022 activities.
During this significant week, and throughout the entire year Paamonim remains highly committed to the GMW theme (“Build your future, be smart about money”), as well as the enduring slogan “Learn. Save. Earn.”
The activities, in the sphere of financial education for youngsters and adolescence, similarly include, lectures for the general public led by Paamonim’s financial college, activities for families, beneficiaries of Paamonims one on one financial counselling, multi-language lectures for both immigrants and citizens of the Arab sector, and activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Bank of Israel.
