“Liknot tov” is a social initiative, incorporated under a community of users who want to help various non-profit organizations in Israeli society. Its uniqueness is that there is no need to send money for the nonprofits to earn money, but to maximize our societal power and compel shops to donate to nonprofits on the basis of purchases by members of the community.
Paamonim, as you know, does not encourage excessive purchases. However, if you do already shop on the Internet, I’m convinced you’d be pleased for Paamonim to earn commission on any purchases made.
You can join this initiative by installing the add-on to Chrome (the Internet browser) on your computer that will allow you to donate to Paamonim for every Internet purchase you make without paying more. It’s also worthwhile for shops since they gain an increase in customer numbers, don’t pay extra on the purchase, and above all of that it allows them to donate to Paamonim.
The add-on is tested by Google and is completely secure, works in the background, and doesn’t influence any of the user’s experience. The data is protected by Google and the add-on doesn’t have the ability or interest to track or collect information about the consumer. Its only function is to send the shops a message telling them that the customer in question came via the non-profit Paamonim and the shop will transfer a portion of the profits to us!
