Request For Assistance
The Paamonim organization strives to bring about a situation in which families conduct their economic activities with balance, responsibility and integrity. This goal will promote national economic and social strength.
Paamonim, established in 1997, helps hundreds of families every year, through its volunteer tutors operating throughout the country.
The family tutoring process is the central focus of Paamonim's activities, and it is provided free of charge. After completing the appropriate training, the volunteer tutor will set up personal meetings with the family, during which he will guide and advise them regarding correct economic household management. In addition to its personal tutoring process Paamonim also has a backup data-base of professional advisors in a wide variety of fields – legal, economic and more.
Paamonim's tutoring process will assist the family to find solutions to their economic difficulties, and will enable them to conduct their economic lives in a more balanced and responsible way.
Target Group:
Paamonim provides an economic tutoring process to individuals conducting an independent household or to families in which both spouses show willingness to commit themselves to cooperation and complete openness with the Paamonim tutor. The family must have an actual or potential income. They must have approached the organization in order to get out of their economic crisis and they must be prepared to undergo a process of economic rehabilitation and change in their style of economic household management.
How to apply:
After the family has completed and returned the application forms (see the bottom of this page), the "Family Recruitment Committee" of Paamonim will examine their application. If the family is found to be suitable for the Paamonim rehabilitation process, a meeting will be arranged with a Paamonim representative. It will take about two weeks from the time that the forms are received in our office until the time that the meeting with the Paamonim representative is set up. The length of the rehabilitation process varies from family to family, but generally it takes about a year. Most of the meetings take place in the home of the family.
Confidentiality:
Paamonim is committed to keeping all information provided by the families completely confidential and it will never pass it on to any outside body.
Stages in the tutoring process:
1. Collection of all information relating to income, expenditure and debts.
2. Analysis of the information and presentation of the updated economic situation
3. Together with the tutor, building up a rehabilitation program which will lead to a balanced situation.
4. Guidance for the family regarding coping with their debts.
5. Economic planning for the future
